ITC Level 1 Introduction to Forest School Training

Get Out More is running a Forest School Level 1 accredited training course ‘Introduction to Forest School Principles’, taking place Monday 3 – Wednesday 5 February 2025 at Cliffe Castle Park in Keighley
ITC Level 1 forest school training is an introduction to the forest school ethos. The Level 1 course introduces the Forest School Principles and how the approach can benefit the holistic development of children and young people. Learners will participate a range of basic woodland skills such as games, shelter building, fire lighting and tool work, enabling them to facilitate outdoor learning using different learner-centred processes while encouraging children’s social development, confidence and self-esteem.
This course is suitable for anyone working with children and young people including school staff, community workers, parents etc. It is ideal for those people who are wanting to gain skills for working outdoors with individuals and groups, those who want to explore Forest Schools within their own setting or those who wish to support a trained Forest Schools practitioner.
This is a Kindling Training course regulated by ITC Awards and delivered by Get Out More CIC
